IPL 2021: RAJASTHAN ROYALS SIGN TABRAIZ SHAMSI AS ANDREW TYE'S REPLACEMENT FOR REMAINDER OF TOURNAMENT-MATCH PREDICTIONS-SESSION PREDICTIONS-CRICKET MATCH REPORT
IPL 2021: Rajasthan Royals reported on Wednesday that they have welcomed on board World No. 1 spinner Tabraiz Shamsi for the rest of the Indian Premier League in the UAE.
Previous bosses Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday reported the marking of Tabraiz Shamsi, the World No. 1 bowler in T20 cricket, for the rest of the Indian Premier League 2021 season in the UAE. Shamsi will join the Royals as a trade for Australia quick bowler Andrew Tye who has pulled out of the rest of the period because of individual reasons.
South Africa spinner Shamsi is the second trade player for the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2021 after they marked New Zealand batsman Glen Philips as a substitution for Jos Butler who quit the rest of the competition.
IPL 2021 will continue in the UAE on September 19. The Royals will continue their mission against the Punjab Kings on September 21 in Dubai. Notwithstanding losing any semblance of Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer, the Royals did well in the main portion of the competition to be put fifth with 3 successes in 7 matches before IPL 2021 was suspended because of positive Covid-19 cases in the establishment bio-bubbles.
31-year-old Shamsi addresses The Titans in South Africa's homegrown cricket, and made his global introduction for South Africa during a two-sided T20I series against England in 2017. The left-arm leg spinner has since gotten 45 wickets in 39 T20Is, alongside 32 wickets in 27 ODIs for his country. In the IPL, Shamsi has played 4 matches in which he got 3 wickets for Royals Challengers Bangalore, who had selected him as a substitution player during the 2016 season.
